"The Great Anglo-Boer War" is a grand-strategic level game of the war between the British Empire and the Boer Republics in South Africa from 1899 to 1902. There are three scenarios - the Conventional War, the Guerrilla War, and the Grand Campaign Game. The full campaign is THE ULTIMATE BOER WAR EXPERIENCE - from the first desperate siege defenses of 1899 to the treaty of Vereeniging (or maybe not?) - and everything tactical and otherwise in between. Battles, blockhouses, farm-burnings, evasions, escapes, raids, concentration camps, sieges, drives, armoured trains, 1-pdr automatic "pom-poms", surrenders, entrenchments, typhoid, barbed-wire, native spies, night marches, supply wagons and more. If it was part of the real Boer war - it is in the game. If you know about the war - this is the one you've been hoping someone would make, and if you are learning about it - this IS THE GAME for that. With a 44x34 map at 9 miles/hex scale, monthly game turns and an accurate order of battle, this is a game that truly does justice to the topic.
